Mission:

Wish children of the past, present, and future will have an opportunity to Share the Power of A Wish®.

The Greater Los Angeles chapter has fulfilled over 6,000 wishes since it began in 1983. Volunteers founded the chapter after a story about the Make-A-Wish Foundation's work in Arizona aired on network television. Today, 17 staff members work with over 400 volunteers annually to help fulfill nearly a wish a day throughout Los Angeles County.
