Aids Researce Alliance (ARA) is a community based, non-profit organization focused on developing a cure for HIV / AIDS. ARA performs clinical trials and scientific research aimed at evaluation of current therapies and the development of new treatments to fight HIV and AIDS.

Charity History

AIDS Research Alliance was founded by Dr. Paul Rothman in 1989 to promote AIDS research. To date, Dr. Rothman's research alliance has contributed to the development of nearly half of the currently available HIV treatment drugs.
