Charity Summary

True Friends (previously known as Friendship Ventures) provides supervised travel and camps for those with special needs and disabilities. True friends has provided over 50 years of camp experiences serving both kids and adults. Five different camp locations make up the True Friends camp programs including:

• Camp Courage on Cedar Lake in Maple Lake, MN
• Camp Friendship on Clearwater Lake in Annandale, MN
• Camp Eden Wood on Birch Island Lake in Eden Prairie, MN
• Camp Courage North on Lake George in Lake George, MN
• Camp New Hope on Glacier Lake near McGregor, MN

Charity History

Friendship Ventures began in 1964 when a group of parents converted a resort in Annandale to a residential camp for their children with disabilities.

True Friends Car Donation Program

Vehicle, camper, truck, motorcycle, snowmobile, jet ski, mobile home, bus, boat, trailers and cars are acceptable for donation. Vehicle donations used at camps and primarily by True Friends may qualify for .
